STEMHOUSE ENGLISH EXCELLENCE 2024 (SEE 2024)
Stemhouse English Excellence 2024 – Color Your Dream is a talent program designed for students who have a passion for English and arts. With the theme “Color Your Dreams”, this special platform will empower students to unleash their potential, ignite their creativity, and shine in their unique style. Through various performances, students will immerse themselves in a colorful world and share their personal dreams.
“COLOR YOUR DREAMS” – WHAT DOES YOUR DREAM LOOK LIKE?
Through the theme “Color Your Dreams”, we hope this contest will be an opportunity for children to imagine and create their own ideal future. As they perform, they will not only showcase their talents but also gain valuable insight, unlocking their unique abilities.
It is so important for kids this age to start thinking about what they want to be when they grow up. By setting goals and working towards them, they will develop important skills like perseverance and self-belief. This will not only benefit their academic journey but also help them become well-rounded individuals.
CONTEST INFORMATION
Key timelines
The competition promises an exciting journey with a dynamic schedule:
- Audition Round (04/08/2024 – 09/08/2024): Participants submit their entries by uploading a video online or sending them to their teachers.
- Rehearsal Round (13/08/2024 – 20/08/2024): Participants who pass the Audition round will be guided to prepare for the next stage. All performances will be recorded and made available for online voting.
- Showcase (25/08/2024): Participants showcase their performances on Stemhouse stage. The panel of judges will assess and determine the overall winners.
Application Process
Participants prepare their performance, fill out the online registration form, and then submit their entry in one of two ways:
- Option 1: Attach the video to the registration link
- Option 2: Submit the video to their CS/AS
Participants
The contest is open to all students who love English:
- All IP, GP, and IS students at Stemhouse
- Others students interested in the contest
Format
Students can unleash their creativity and showcase their English skills through one of the following formats: singing, dancing, doing drama, telling a story, reciting poetry, presenting a speech
NOTES
- The maximum duration for each video is 5 minutes (except for drama performances).
- Students can participate individually or as a team.
Audition Round Criteria
To evaluate the performances in the Audion Round, our judges will consider the following criteria:
- Language: ability to use correct and appropriate vocabulary and grammar, as well as accurate pronunciation, natural intonation.
- Content: creativity and originality in topic selection; the performance must align with the overall theme of the contest as well as clearly convey the student’s ideas.
- Performance: confidence and fluency in English communication; a clear and impressive introduction, presentation, and conclusion will also be highly valued.

The contest promises exciting surprises with incredibly attractive prizes.
- 1 Grand Prize: VND 4.000.000 + 50% Scholarship*
- 1 1st Runner-up: VND 3.000.000 + 40% Scholarship*
- 1 2nd Runner-up: VND 2.000.000 + 30% Scholarship*
- 1 Most Popular Performance: VND 1.000.000 + 30% Scholarship*
- 1 Most Impressive Performance: VND 1.000.000 + 20% Scholarship*
- 5 Encouragement Prize: VND 1.000.000 + 20% Scholarship*
*The Scholarship cover Stemhouse’s standard STEM English Course and Flyers, KET, PET preparation course. Additionally, winners will also receive a trophy, a commemorative award, and a certificate from Stemhouse.
