POLICY FOR STUDENTS AND PARENTS

28/Mar/2024

ARTICLE 1: CONTACT INFORMATION

The center will provide information about the teacher in charge of the class before the class begins. Parents and students can directly contact the teacher or reach out to the center for support.

Parents are requested to provide their phone number, email, and address to the center before enrollment to maintain communication. Parents should notify the center of any changes to these details.

The center is permitted to use images of students during activities throughout the course for updates in communication books, related class materials, and other media platforms.

In case of health-related emergencies, the center will contact the student’s parents or relatives using the provided phone numbers. If unable to reach them, the school will take the student to the nearest medical facility.

ARTICLE 2: RULES AND DISCIPLINE

Attend classes regularly and on time; any absence must be reported to the center in advance.

Students are not allowed to leave the center without the permission of the teacher or staff.

Respect teachers, staff, and other students at the center. Behavior and language should be polite and appropriate for students, with no fighting or causing disturbances.

Take care of the facilities; do not use others’ or the center’s belongings without permission. Do not scribble on walls, desks, or other objects. Any damage caused by students will be compensated by the students and parents.

No shouting, running, or chasing each other within the center’s premises.

Maintain cleanliness, dispose of trash properly, and protect the environment.

ARTICLE 3: SAFETY GUIDELINES

Do not bring toys or valuable items to the center to ensure safety and focus on learning. If students need to use electronic devices such as laptops, phones, or tablets, the class teacher will contact parents in advance.

Students should bring their personal water bottles to ensure hygiene, protect the environment, and for convenience.

Parents should remind students of some principles to ensure their safety and that of their friends at the center:

  • Move in line, always stay on the right side when moving on stairs and in hallways.
  • Do not run, jump, or climb. Be especially careful in hazardous areas that are slippery and prone to injury (such as stairs or restrooms).
  • Do not push others. Be careful when opening and closing doors to avoid trapping fingers and toes.
  • Do not interact with strangers from outside; immediately report any appearance of strangers to the teacher, teaching assistant, or center staff.
  • Always stay within the center’s premises, even during breaks. Seek permission from the teacher or teaching assistant before leaving the classroom.

ARTICLE 4: STUDENT PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF REGULATIONS

Parents are responsible for bringing students to the class and ensuring they enter the center’s premises.

If parents agree to let students leave by themselves after class, they should inform the center for confirmation.

If parents arrange for a Grab ride for their child, they must notify the center with the driver’s information (license plate + name).

Note: If a student leaves the premises independently with parental consent, the center will not be responsible once the student has left the school grounds.

ARTICLE 5: TUITION FEE REGULATIONS

Tuition fees must be paid in full at least 5 days before the class begins.

If tuition fees are paid in installments, the remaining balance must be paid within 7 days after the class starts.

Paid tuition fees are non-refundable.

ARTICLE 6: TUITION DEFERRAL POLICY

The center will consider requests for tuition deferral and transfer only after mutual agreement between the parents and the center.

The deferral and transfer period is 1 year from the date the deferral request is accepted.

The amount deferred and transferred is the actual remaining amount after deducting the classes the student has attended.

Within 1 year from the deferral date, the student (or parent) must contact the consultant to re-enroll in a suitable course according to the center’s level and schedule or complete the procedure to transfer the tuition to another student (who is the student’s sibling). After this period, the deferred tuition will expire, and the center will not resolve any cases.

The center only defers and transfers the amount (not the number of hours) of the student’s course. Therefore, students must pay the full difference in tuition fees when enrolling in a new course. Note that the difference in tuition is only valid if the new course’s tuition is paid in full 10 days before the course starts.

ARTICLE 7: TUITION FEE POLICY

Paid tuition fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the center cannot open a class for the student within 3 months from the scheduled start date.

The difference in tuition fees when transferring to another program arising from the student will not be refunded.

For students currently enrolled at the center, if they have to take a break for reasons such as travel, returning to their hometown, illness, etc., and notify the center in advance, the center will support them with the course content; students can ask questions and request assistance from the class teacher regarding the missed lessons. The center will not deduct tuition for missed days. If the student is absent for an extended period, the center may consider transferring the student to another equivalent class after re-enrollment (tuition will be deferred) according to regulations.

This regulation applies to all classes and courses at the center and is effective from June 2022. Parents and students enrolled at the center are responsible for complying with these regulations.
