Under the guidance of the instructor, the students had materials to advertise local products (Basic advertising video about local products).

DAY 2: LEARN THE HISTORY OF LOCAL SALT MAKING AND SALT MAKING TECHNIQUES

Students start their day with morning exercise. They woke up very early to prepare for today’s long journey.

In the first activity, Uncle Ba Em – salt worker in Long Son commune shared about the process of making granulated salt. Salt growers here produce salt mainly based on three main processes: salt making process on the ground, salt production process on sand layer and salt production process on plastic tarpaulin.

Listen to the salt workers share and go to the salt fields to understand the difficulties of the workers to love the salt and be grateful for the hard work of the farmers who have 1 sun and 2 dew. Your sharing about life and family has helped the children learn to love workers more!

DAY 2: WORKSHOP – EXPERIMENT ON SEA WATER EVAPORATION – METHOD OF SUBSTANCE SEPARATION

On the second day, after visiting Long Son and learning about the local economy, the children experimented with the evaporation of sea water. Salt cannot be used immediately after harvesting in the field because it contains impurities. Children learn how to separate substances to turn dirty salt into clean salt.

One of the interesting activities of this trip is that the children will complete the challenge of taking photos and filming to preserve the moments requested by the organizers. You were all excited to explore the experiment and carefully took notes on each information, then synthesized them to complete a separate communication video for each group.
